Night to UniteThe Crystal Police Department canceled its Oct. 6 Night to Unite activities to help keep residents safe while COVID-19 restrictions are in place. The department will not be sponsoring nor visiting events.

City of Crystal Night to Unite City-wide Drive Thru
In lieu of Night to Unite block party visits, the Crystal Police Department, Crystal Public Works and the West Metro Fire Rescue District will participate in a Night to Unite City-wide Drive Thru on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from approximately 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

Residents are welcome to watch and wave as city and emergency vehicles, with sirens on, follow a preplanned route. The drive thru begins near Winnetka Ave. and 35th Ave N. at 5:30 p.m. and weaves through most of Crystal, ending at Adair Ave. and 42nd Ave. N. around 6:20 p.m.

Neighborhoods Still Hosting Parties
For
 residents still participating in neighborhood block parties and activities, the police department recommends social distancing, wearing masks, not sharing food items and using other stay-safe strategies. Block party participating in a food and school supply drive can drop off items at the NEAR Food Shelf at 5209 W. Broadway in Crystal. 

The Crystal Public Works Department will drop off road cones to keep traffic out for block parties meeting in their city street. Complete and submit the online cone request form below by Friday, Sept. 30, 2020.
